Introducing: Spunky Sprout--new album debuting at CHA!!

Hey there everyone!!!! I am so beyond thrilled to give you a sneak peak of one of my new books that I designed for Punky Sprouts!!
I tried to think of different size pages and styles that I thought you would like and I came up with this one.
This picture isn't perfect because I was working on the prototypes but you get the idea!!!
As you know I've been trying to come up with a name for my designs. It has to be something personal about me or someone in my family. This is what we came up with. What do you think?

Introducing: Spunky Sprout
books include: corrugated, chipboard, canvas, and acrylic pages.
Canvas flowers on cover are also a prototype. You guys are going to LOVE these!!!

Tell your stores to pick them up!! You are going to love designing with them!!

I will be teaching this class and another at Creative Cuts and crafts
days before CHA!! July 24 and 25th!!
So make sure to sign up!!!!

Leave me a comment and you may win one of these albums!!
You have from now until CHA to leave a comment!!

Getting ready for Reflections

This Friday we are heading to New Port Beach to attend the Reflections event!
I'll be doing make n' takes while Shelly works the booth.
I'm excited to be going with three awesome gals:
Shelly Mitchell, Daniela Costa, and Sarah De Guzman
We are first going to head out to the garment district in the morning
to do some fun shopping and then make n' takes in the evening.

We'll be making a fun little banner.
Check out all the fun things I'm working with.

I was trying to take pictures of the product only and then Jeremy said I should be in the picture. LOL Since I look crazy ( I was out in the rain today) I didn't really want to be in it but Jeremy insisted. LOL
It'll be a pretty simple project since it's a make n' take for a 100 or so people
but I think it'll be fun!! Check out all that Jenni Bowlin and the fun canvas sheets by Punky Sprouts!!
You know I gotta throw in some awesome flowers by The Art life.
and we gotta mod podge. I'm misting all three hundred canvas sheets a head of time.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of friends and meeting new scrappers!!
Thanks for looking!

Punky Sprouts meets October Afternoon

In love with the combo of these two lines!!
I used Punky Sprouts-Punk n' circumstance album with October Afternoon products.
I love how it came out.
I cut up some of the pages of the chipboard so I could make smaller flip pages.
Love the cute flowers by The Art Life.
This is the back of the pages above.
As you can see, I used my favorite pen again for some journaling.
The shape of this acrylic page is really fun to play with.
Love the bright journal tags and letters that October Afternoon has.

Canvas pages are so fun to play with. On this one, I just added stickers and a button.

I love the glimmer mist color sunflower. It looks great on the chipboard page.
This is the other side of the page above. I left the page just like it. No color.
Notice how I made my own lines for journaling. LOL
I used glossy accents to "accent" some of the words
LOVE CANVAS!
Love this album. It's so fun to create with!!
Thanks for letting me share this with you.

If you like pink...I think you'll like this one...

A few months ago I took some pictures of the girls. They came out so adorable. I set up the tri-pod so I could be in at least one of them. lol
Anyways, I wanted to make a very girlie book so I used Bella blvd.'s new line with Punky Sprouts Rebel album.
Hope you like it!! :)

Making a splash with Bella Blvd.

I had a couple of scrappers ask me to design a beach themed book. I had the perfect pictures, the perfect paper line, and worked with the perfect book!

This first page. You can't really tell but it's a thin canvas page. Maybe when you click on the picture you will see it better. I added fun Bella Blvd. chipboard pieces and papers.
The original shape of the canvas page was bigger and was shaped like a bracket. I used the piece that I cut off to another page. You can see it in the back of the book.
Oh you can see the size of the canvas piece here on the left hand side. I added journaling to the back side of the page.
The two pieces to the right were one original chipboard page. It was long like the rest of the book. I cut the pieces to make them smaller. The bracket on the larger chipboard piece was already on the original piece.
The bracket canvas piece that I cut off on the first page, I added to the right side of this chipboard page. I wanted to keep this page simple to show off the beautiful picture.
I added glimmer mist by Tattered Angel's to this page. I love the color Sunflower. It's so pretty!
I took a lot of the round chipboard pieces plus others to decorate this border. I added twine to the buttons.
The last two pieces of this book I adhered together. I created the page on the acrylic piece. Glazed it with mod podge. I then used the last canvas sheet as a background. I adhered it from the backside.

Hope you like it!!! Tell me what you think.

PS... attn: Store owners--your customers are asking for these books. If you want to carry them, call 1-503-206-2881

Live For Today project

As soon as I got one of these albums in my hot little hands, I knew I wasn't going to be able to wait long to start creating with it.
Last night it was calling to me so I started working on it thinking I would start it and finish all the rest the rest at the crop the next day. Well that didn't happen. I had so much fun creating, I couldn't stop. The wild thing is that it took me only a few hours to finish it.
This is the Rebel Sprout album.
